Public bug reported:

Hello All,
Over the last few weeks, my desktop has been freezing whenever Firefox opens
the previous session.

Computer Hardware Details:
Motherboard: Asus TRX50 WS
CPU: Threadripper 7970x
GPUs: Radeon 9070
      Radeon 9060xt

Ubuntu Release: 24.04.3 LTS
Linux Version: 6.14.0-37-generic
Current Firefox Installation version: Mozilla 147.0.3-1
Source Package: gnome-shell 46.0-0ubuntu6-24-04-13
Expectation: Firefox opens the previous session without freezing the GUI.
Actual Behavior: The GUI freezes and does not recover. I have tried using
Firefox 147.0.3-1 from Mozilla, Snap, and Flatpak to no avail.

No crash reports are available, so I've attached journal logs from the
session when the freeze what initiated, and from the session after
REISUB.

If the issue here is not a bug, I appologize.

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
