Since the package left behind is "dput-ng-doc" I'd expect this to be a problem.
Please add it to extra-exclude, see

and https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/seeds/ubuntu.resolute/supported

Older releases are up for debcrafters to decide, but I can see why. Just how 
far back is enough and how muhc has it changed to be comfortable?
