Firmware is at the latest version. Intel it not interested in debugging
'old' 6.8 kernels. Firmware is a black box so there's not much we can
do.

Things you can try:
1) Try the HWE kernel
2) Try older firmware versions [1]
3) Try mainline kernels [2]. If you find a working one (as close to 6.8 as
possible) we might be able to find a kernel fix.

[1]
iwlwifi in 6.8 supports APIs 30 to 46. You're currently loading 46
(9260-th-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode). Temporarily remove
/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-9260-th-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode.zst and reboot. This should
then load -38.ucode. If that doesn't work remove
/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-9260-th-b0-jf-b0-38.ucode.zst to test -34.

Note that mainline kernels are unsigned so you need to disable SecureBoot.

Let me know how that goes.
