I hope the debian/copyright for the vendored Rust code is adequate, we spend about 4-6 person hours on it and build a mechanism with decopy to scan each vendored crate into copyright.in.d; then edit the files in copyright.d and finally construct a merged copyright file.
This means that for new versions we can just run `debian/rules run- decopy` to see which crates changed and then update our edited snippets and regenerate the copyright file.
