** Patch added: "0008-fix-findthrust-version-match.patch" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/stdgpu/+bug/2141601/+attachment/5945331/+files/0008-fix-findthrust-version-match.patch
** Description changed: See FTBFS for older rocm-hipamd in debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1119033 stdgpu also blocks the migration of rocr-runtime for v7.1.0 So I tried to fix the ftbfs applied patches attached to first fix Findthrust version regex issue then bump HIP version from 5.1 to 7.1 but then it fails to build because of symbol mismatch issues, which is an indication of need for more complex upgrade. Please see the build logs I have here: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/847257253/buildlog_ubuntu-resolute- amd64.stdgpu_1.3.0+git20220507.32e0517-6ubuntu4~git202602112135.de52eed_BUILDING.txt.gz PPA: https://launchpad.net/~tchavadar/+archive/ubuntu/stdgpu- proposed/+packages + + No reverse depends as far as: + ``` + root@pretty-antelope:~# reverse-depends -b -x src:stdgpu + No reverse dependencies found + root@pretty-antelope:~# reverse-depends -x src:stdgpu + No reverse dependencies found + ``` + + And it is also removed from debian testing see: + https://tracker.debian.org/news/1692629/stdgpu-removed-from-testing/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141601 Title: FTBFS with libamdhip64-5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/stdgpu/+bug/2141601/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
