So as a first-time poster I hope I am not messing up the process on correctly reporting anything I might have encountered but: could this bug affect the wakeonlan package functionality? If I need to file this as a separate bug please remove my message.
I am running Linux Mint XFCE 22.3 on a Lenovo M720q ThinkCentre Tiny which wakes up a NAS through the wakeonlan package in order to provide a machine-requested backup (as in: the machine wakes the backup target, so that the backup target does not have to follow a time-schedule only to wake for nothing). On Sunday the 8th I updated Mint XFCE, which installed the 6.8.0-100 kernel after which the problems started. After updating to 6.8.0-100 I noticed my backup device stopped waking up, causing the backup to fail. I today reverted to 6.8.0-94 and the requested functionality instantly returned.
