Public bug reported:

Hi,

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS installed on a mac mini (2017).

After regular update, booting on 6.17.0-14 kernel generates a kernel
panic.

Error message shown is something like :

unable to mount root system vfs at unknown block ( device 0,0 )

Workaround for now - as I don't know what else to do in that situation,

booting from previous kernel 6.14.0-36 ( or -37 ) is OK.

** Affects: linux-hwe-6.17 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Changed in: gimp (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid
