Since I posted #11 Compositor has gotten aggravating with the -90 kernel version and backleveled Nvidia Binary driver package...
Just now I was trying to work on a remote Linux server... Terminal Emulator window ssh to the remote server. I had the Terminal Emulator window maximized. With Compositor enabled, it would do hideous flashing between the Terminal Emulator and my wallpaper. Flashing back and forth randomly. That is NO WAY to get productive work done. Compositor (Composter, I call it!) back to disabled.... put up with the nasty black boxes around menus reported in #1. At least with it disabled, I have a consistent screen ssh'ed into the remote server. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138998 Title: Nvidia drivers updated this week 20260124 cause annoying flashing of screen when used with Compositor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-580/+bug/2138998/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
