This is not a bug with Ubuntu or the kernel. You have third party kernel
modules (rtl8814au, 8814au) that are incompatible with kernel 6.17
You either need to update them or remove them. With kernel 6.17, you may not
need external modules for your adapter. If you do, I suggest something that's
regularly updated like: https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw88
** Summary changed:
- errors in linux-6.17.0-14, headers, generic-hwe-24.04,image-6.17.0-14-generic
+ rtl8814au 5.8.5.1 fails to build with kernel 6.17 HWE
** Package changed: linux-hwe-6.17 (Ubuntu) => ubuntu
** Changed in: ubuntu
Status: New => Invalid
