Thanks for the comments @tjaalton! > why is this "arch: any" instead of "arch: all"?
You are right, "arch: all" is more fitting here. This was a result of an incorrect initial assumption. crypto-policies should only contain Python and shell code. > Did you check the old package? The old description looked more useful to me. I did check it out, but I must have overlooked the description. I definitely agree, the current description seems a bit placeholder at the moment. > which should be unnecessary, and certainly not related to openssl compat? Yes, this patch also contains modifications to the Makefile that are unrelated to OpenSSL as well. This was written as an "MVP" patch and should be split up. In response to !/bin/sh over !/usr/bin/sh, I ran into an issue during packaging IIRC, but as the patch fails to mention it, I will try reverting it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138940 Title: [needs-packaging] crypto-policies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/crypto-policies/+bug/2138940/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
