Working kernel:
6.14.0-1020-oem → brightness control works correctly.
Broken kernel:
6.17.0-1011-oem → brightness values change in
/sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl*/brightness, but panel brightness does not
change.
Symptoms:
- GNOME slider moves
- brightnessctl changes values
- /sys/class/backlight/... values change
- actual screen brightness does not change
This is a regression between 6.14-oem and 6.17-oem.
NVIDIA driver version:
580-open (DKMS)
Issue affects internal laptop panel backlight only.
