Similar issues are already described in bug 1969577 and bug 1968451 so
we only need to know if you are referring to the main icon grid or one
of the subfolders?

GNOME icons that appear when you click the "Show Apps" button suddenly
get small. A restart of GNOME Shell fixes this. This is the ubuntu
tweaked version of GNOME.
