This issue also exists in debian packages. Attached is a patch that was
made from revision ddb9f6193ed04f5845b6314fd3ce89b29799fcd4 (current
master of https://salsa.debian.org/lua-team/luarocks.git) which just
adds lua5.4 (and liblua5.4-dev) as possible choices to satisfy the
package's dependencies.
