What motivates me to report this upstream is that the problem does not occur on any other Linux distribution, nor does it occur on earlier Ubuntu LTS releases (20.04 or 22.04). Recently, one of the CS developers confirmed that libvirt version 10.6.0-1ubuntu3.3, from Ubuntu 24.10, works correctly when installed on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. If more details are needed, feel free to reach out. We operate multiple production environments experiencing these issues daily, as well as non- production environments that we can use to test and validate potential fixes.
