Thanks for raising this bug, Tim. I have been having the same problem with 6.8.0-100 (lots of random "Unable to connect" errors in Firefox that seem to resolve themselves after one or several retry requests) but I did not realise that it was kernel related until doing some tests with mtr today and noticed it returning "Unexpected mtr-packet error". That lead me to reading an old Arch Linux thread from last year:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=307847 which pointed to kernel changes, and also to someone else on Ubuntu blogging about it yesterday: https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/ubuntu-kernel-6-8-100-buggy- network.html and then to your bug report. So far I have tried booting into a previous kernel 6.8.0-94 on my system and that completely fixes the issue for me. I'm pleased to hear you say that your problem is also resolved when using -103 version. Just wanted to let you know of my similar experience with -100. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141531 Title: Network unstable on 6.8.0-100.100 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2141531/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
