$ ls pretty.webp wallpaper.jpg In this situation, eog w<Tab> will autocomplete, but eog p<Tab> will not. Per discussion at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/eog/-/issues/339 this is not a bug in Eye of Gnome itself.
