Thank you for taking the time to report this bug.

I'm not able to reproduce this here, but it looks like a blocked
syscall. I was hoping to find something like "Disallowed syscall ..." in
your journal, but the NVIDIA driver is spamming your system log, so
there's not much to go off there. You might be getting affected by
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-
drivers-590/+bug/2142443

Are there crash logs in /var/crash/*pipewire* you could share?

Title:
  pipewire-pulse.service crashes with signal=SYS on Ubuntu 26.04
(Resolute) – No audio, “Not connected to PulseAudio server”

Status in pipewire package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  System:
Ubuntu 26.04 (Resolute Raccoon - development branch)
  Kernel: 6.19.0-6-generic
  Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9510

  Issue:
Audio is not working. The system tray shows:
  “Not connected to PulseAudio server”.

pipewire.service and wireplumber.service are running normally.

  However, pipewire-pulse.service crashes immediately with:

  Active: failed (Result: core-dump)
  signal=SYS

  Systemd shows:
  pipewire-pulse.service: Failed with result 'core-dump'
  Start request repeated too quickly.

Because pipewire-pulse is not running, no audio devices are available.

This appears to be a regression in Ubuntu 26.04 development branch.

systemctl --user status pipewire → running
systemctl --user status wireplumber → running
  systemctl --user status pipewire-pulse → core-dump (signal=SYS)
