Public bug reported:
Updating the kernel and its associated packages to 6.17.0-1012-oem has
disabled wifi on a 24.04 LTS system with Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 chip. This
is a regression from 6.17.0-1011-oem.
Inspecting dmesg output shows many iwlmld errors of the following form,
implying the module may have been built against the wrong version of the
kernel:

I am attaching the output of apport from a system exhibiting the error.
Additionally, one of my users reported that he worked around the error
by removing the linux-modules-iwlwifi-6.17.0-1012-oem package. On next
boot, the system loaded the iwlwifi module from linux-
modules-6.17.0-1012-oem and the system did not exhibit the same issue.
