Public bug reported: Ubuntu 24.04 Shows Black Screen at the beginning of day
I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 22.04 to Ubuntu 24.04. Now whenever I open vSphere Client to "Launch remote console" the windows shows a black screen. So far the only way to have the login screen appear is to click on "Send Ctrl+Alt+Del to virtual machine". I "log out" every evening and let the VM continue running through the night. The VM is running Ubuntu Server and Desktop GUI. And most recently, after login screen the black screen re-appears. Any advice on how to fix the black screen?
