Hope y'all are happy, ubuntu has changed default sudo implementation to sudo-rs.
sudo-rs has, at least at time of writing, "fixed" this bug upstream by shipping code that enables pwfeedback by default, not caring about 45 years of sudo historical precedence, or #62's security concerns, and Ubuntu have decided to change sudo implementations without the reciprocal "!pwfeedback" being shipped in sudoers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/194472 Title: Entering password in Terminal gives no visual feedback To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/194472/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
