While I do agree with the logic of this change I think it would be reasonable to have a commented out line (#) for "Defaults !pwfeedback" that could be uncommented if a user chooses to do so
also this file says # Please consider adding local content in /etc/sudoers.d/ instead of # directly modifying this file.
