Public bug reported:
After updating to kernel 6.17.0-14-generic on Lubuntu 24.04, the
broadcom-sta-dkms driver fails to complete, leading to a Kernel Panic
(unable to mount root fs) because initramfs is not generated property.
Wi-Fi works fine on older kernel 6.14.0-37-generic. Hardware Acer Aspire
5560.
