LVM is not well-supported in Calamares. Upstream would likely benefit
from contributions to their LVM code to make it more robust. Even if
this is added however, it is very likely that the "Encrypt system"
checkbox will continue to provide plain LUKS on partitions rather than
LUKS over LVM, as many users depend on the ability to use LUKS without
LVM in the wild.
