Public bug reported:
**Describe the bug**
When uninstalling Unbound from Ubuntu 24 Noble, with the command: `apt remove
unbound` will leave folders on Linux, which prevent a reinstall, which then
creates a severe issue. When I reinstall, the deb unpacking hangs at 60%, locks
my console and is impossible to escape, leading to corrupt packages and even
`systemd` failures. Multiple times, in multiple tries. Standard procedures,
configure deb, unlock threads, won't work. Even rebooting will even fail to
start up apache2. This was a severe failure.
The problem arises as a post-invocation script run by `systemd`, I
think? When I stop that post-invocation, the installer completes but
then misses the post-invocation. So it won't fully install...
Mitigation:
Remove everything Unbound left behind, including `Unboud user`. Use
`grep` to find it.
**To reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
As described above.
**Expected behavior**
Reinstalling should be possible, not freezing.
**System:**
- Unbound version: Latest build for Ubuntu. 1.19.2
