Public bug reported:
On Resolute (26.04), SMPlayer and VLC from the Ubuntu Archive sometimes
don't react to mouse wheel scrolling, making scrolling through a video
feel sluggish.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
* Boot Ubuntu (or Kubuntu) Resolute live image
* $sudo apt update && sudo apt install smplayer
* Play a video in SMPlayer, try to scroll a few times.
OBSERVED RESULT
The player doesn't react to every scroll event. Sometimes the scrolling does
nothing.
EXPECTED RESULT
Player reacts to every scroll event.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Can reproduce:
* in a live session on bare metal, both Ubuntu and Kubuntu (other flavours not
tested)
* on Resolute (26.04), both with SMPlayer and VLC from the Ubuntu Archive
Cannot reproduce:
* on Questing (25.10), both with SMplayer and VLC from the Ubuntu Archive
* in a live session in a VM (virt-manager)
* with SMPlayer Flatpak from Flathub on Resolute
* with SMPlayer on my Arch Test Installation (seems to be the SMPlayer version
as in Resolute)
* with different video players (Haruna, MPV)
* with another Qt5 application (Picard)
