Confirmed. The bug occurs with:

  ptyxis --new-window -- vim

but wouldn't occur with:

  ptyxis -- vim

Still, it feels like a Ptyxis bug because I don't think opening multiple
new windows is a reasonable interpretation of the first command. It's
also an xdg-terminal-exec bug because it has no good reason to need to
pass the --new-window option.

** Also affects: xdg-terminal-exec (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New

** Changed in: xdg-terminal-exec (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Confirmed
