The 'unittests' autopkgtest adapts the upstream unit tests to run against the installed version of modemmanager. This is done by patching the upstream tests, but this work has not been done for the modemmanager version uploaded to experimental (the one we currently have in resolute- proposed), and not even in the salsa debian/experimental branch.
I think that fully fixing the test goes beyond what we want to do in Ubuntu right now. I am going to disable the failing test. The failure cause is understood, and there are two other non-superficial autopkgtests, and three superficial ones, so we do have test coverage. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2143721 Title: Tests are failing with the proposed version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/modemmanager/+bug/2143721/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
