Thanks for the patch, I couldn't quite believe the bug number when I saw this in the sponsorship report! A few questions:
* The patch doesn't apply cleanly in either the noble or resolute versions. Specifically, the context of the final line appears to be off (extra space within the quoted string?). Which version was this patch generated against? * The patch would ideally be in the form of a debdiff or a merge-request to be sponsored [1] but if you need a hand generating those I'm happy to do so, but... * Is there a reason to apply this patch instead of the one proposed in the debian bug upstream [2]? Your patch looks logically cleaner to me, but the upstream one appears to be fixing a few other things too? I'm not sure which is the "more correct" [1]: https://documentation.ubuntu.com/project/contributors/patching/make- changes-to-a-package/ [2]: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=208967#26 Thanks again! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/19987 Title: docbook2man uses hyphens instead of minus signs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/docbook-utils/+bug/19987/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
