Public bug reported:
After playing a game running at 1280x720 and returning to the desktop
(native resolution 1920x1080), the display does not restore to the correct
resolution or has visual scaling issues.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set native resolution to 1920x1080
2. Launch a game running at 1280x720
3. Exit the game
4. Observe that desktop resolution is not correctly restored
Hardware:
- Device: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15IAH8
- CPU: Intel Core i5-12450H (12th Gen, Intel Iris Xe Graphics)
- RAM: 16GB LPDDR5
- OS: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS (Noble Numbat)
- Session: Wayland
- Mutter: 46.2
