Nothing's missing, the loading of the gpi module seems to be the problem. For some reason that load is triggered on the ISO (but not on an already installed system). It looks to be tied to the loading of the raid modules. Also, I can load that module just fine on an already installed system so there's likely a race when it's loaded early at boot.
Adding 'modprobe.blacklist=gpi' to the grub commandline gets the ISO boot going. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2142403 Title: Ubuntu Resolute Desktop image arm64 - Boot on SC8280XP stalls with gpi-dma errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2142403/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
