Honestly, I don't know if it's worth pursuing this route or not, given
Debian closed their matching but as 'won't fix'. I'm presenting patches
in a git-ubuntu branch so maintainers can better evaluate that. With
that branch I handle both AMD64 and PPC64EL architectures which failed
with GCC 15.2 Other architectures that I built for in PPAs that also
succeeded were: s390x, amrhf and arm64 (forgot to include riscv64 in
that PPA).
