> I'm verifying that this fix for the objdump bug also fixes the undefined symbol errors we see at runtime when using libraries built with offload compress. I'm expecting that the fix for objdump is likely to fix the runtime issues as well. If so, this is a very important bug fix for the ROCm libraries.
This objdump bug was unrelated to the undefined symbol errors when loading code built using --offload-compress. Those errors were traced back to libamd_comgr.so and were fixed by an update to src:rocm-llvm. The objdump bug is 'just' an objdump bug, as far as I can tell. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2142335 Title: Segfault in llvm-objdump --offloading with object file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/llvm/+bug/2142335/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
