Not sure if it's related, but this morning when I came into my office I heard my PC fans spinning at high speed, so without touching anything I ssh'd in and saw that plasmashell and kwin_wayland were using most of a CPU core each. I switched on my power strip and the monitors stayed off as before. Killing kscreenlocker_greet via ssh got me a login prompt, but the spinning of the two processes didn't stop until I had successfully entered my password and unlocked the session.
FWIW in this case Thunderbird hadn't crashed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2142605 Title: kscreenlocker_greet keeps monitors off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kscreenlocker/+bug/2142605/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
