Public bug reported:

No obvious symptoms yet but as I have previously encountered nvidia
driver problems when an update has only done a partial update I forced a
manual update. I had one package with an out of date GPG signature
(Google Earth) which may have been partially blocking the auto update. I
noticed that the upgrade included the hwe files so this may also be a
case of a library mismatch in one of the nvidia modules? Hopefully the
manual update/upgrade has fixed the problem.
