I have a snap compatible version of widevine-installer at https://github.com/tobhe/widevine-installer.
One caveat is that the chromium build of widevine is linked against a rather new version of glibc which is not compatible with core22, so it only works with core24 snaps. For Firefox that means updating to the edge channel. The new chromium native build should hopefully fix that once and for all since it will probably link against a old enough version to satisfy all common Linux distributions (and Ubuntu in particular since it is targeting DGX Spark which is a Ubuntu platform). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2144316 Title: widevine-installer does not enable Widevine DRM on Firefox nor Chromium To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/2144316/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
