Public bug reported: cryptsetup autopkgtests are always timing out due to the upstream- testsuite test hanging indefinitely at the same point every time [1]:
56s [1] Allowing discards for LUKS device 758s [2] Allowing discards for plain device 760s [fvault2-compat-test] 760s HEADER CHECK 760s fvault2-images/small [OK] 760s ACTIVATION CHECK 760s fvault2-images/small [OK] 760s [integrity-compat-test] 760s Integrity mode tests: 760s [INTEGRITY:blake2s-256:32:512][FORMAT][N/A] 4365s [INTEGRITY:blake2b-256:32:512][FORMAT][ACTIVATE] The same test passes without issue on Debian [2], although other tests fail. The test should either be fixed or (IMO) disabled/reordered so other test suites can run. At the very least, this causes test runs to take hours before timing out. 1. https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-resolute/resolute/amd64/c/cryptsetup/20260317_010930_e4f75@/log.gz 2. https://ci.debian.net/packages/c/cryptsetup/unstable/amd64/69540484/#S5 ** Affects: cryptsetup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2144683 Title: cryptsetup: autopkgtest upstream-testsuite hangs indefinitely To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cryptsetup/+bug/2144683/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
