Public bug reported:

Rust 1.94 was released on 5 March, 2026. A great deal of packages in the
Ubuntu archive rely on Rust to build properly, and as time passes, the
minimal supported Rust version (MSRV) of crucial Rust-based packages
increases.

1.91 stabilizes many RISCV target features, and fixes some overly-strict
lifetime errors with closures. It also updates to Unicode 17, meaning
you can now program Rust using 4 new writing systems plus the Bigfoot
emoji. See releases.rs[1] for a full changelog.

In the 26.04 Roadmap, the target Rust version is 1.93, not 1.94! This
update is just to get ahead of the game. As always, we try to make new
Rust versions available as they are released.
