Public bug reported: Natron is a free, open-source node-graph based video compositing software, similar in functionality to Adobe After Effects, The Foundry Nuke, or Blackmagic Fusion.
It provides powerful 2D compositing capabilities with a flexible node- based interface, support for OpenFX plugins, and Python scripting. This package requires significant patching to build on current Debian and Ubuntu releases. Upstream Natron 2.5.1-pre2 targets Qt5, PySide2/Shiboken2, and older Python releases, none of which are available in Ubuntu 26.04 (Resolute Raccoon) and later.
