In the future, please use ubuntu-bug to report Launchpad bugs since it
will include extra information to help in triaging your bugs.
I'm guessing that you were using the default Ubuntu desktop which uses
GNOME. More recent versions of gtk-nocsd or gtk3-nocsd are set to not
run in GNOME. If you are still experiencing this issue, please report a
new bug.
