From my understanding, this build error is caused by a race condition caused by parallel build for extensions
Various bug report upstream: - https://github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues/5196 - https://github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues/3942 (where python-libvirt is mentioned) This issue might not be related to 31.4 but recently some changes in Debian/Ubuntu (dh_python, dpkg 1.23) enable the python extensions parallel extensions. ** Bug watch added: github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues #5196 https://github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues/5196 ** Bug watch added: github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues #3942 https://github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues/3942 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2139083 Title: libvirt-python/libvirtmod*.so internal compiler error when linking on arm64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt-python/+bug/2139083/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
