Hi, I think 3 years of development of a key package seeded everywhere and direct dependency of gdm3 is too dangerous to sneak in post beta. I do see that there are nice new features and bug fixes, but the aim now should be to stabilize what we have.
Regarding homed, according to https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/accountsservice/accountsservice/-/tags homed support is a relatively new addition (tag 25.34.76, August 2025): Adrian Vovk (20): Add basic homed support so I am not too worried about it, as AIUI that was never supported. I am not approving this FFe for now, but please feel free to comment back if you think I missed the importance of it. Thanks! ** Changed in: accountsservice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2146352 Title: FFe: accountsservice 26.12.8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/accountsservice/+bug/2146352/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
