No, I'm not a member of ~ubuntu-sponsors; I'm a member of the Unity7 Maintainers Team. I check for and report bugs I find and try to fix them myself to make the maintainer's job easier. There are certainly other ways to fix the bug, but I want to at least bring it to the attention of the developers.
