On the chance that the visual corruption is unrelated to the log
messages, it might be a recurrence of an issue we saw during development
on hybrid systems. Basically the integrated GPU would have corruption if
Nvidia was updating at the same time (full screen animations). Red Hat
told me they had found a workaround and that's what we're shipping
already. But if you still have the corruption then it should be possible
to eliminate by adding this to /etc/environment:

  MUTTER_DEBUG_FORCE_RENDER_SOURCE=0

and rebooting.
