Hi Scott! I've finally had the time to create a patch for the nvidia-graphics- drivers packages with some help from my colleagues working more closely with NVIDIA. Next, I'll be submitting these changes for review, and hopefully they will be incorporated into the packages soon so that I can re-enable CONFIG_X86_KERNEL_IBT.
It may take some time for this to make its way into the generic kernels as I will have missed the stable release updates window for this cycle, but I'll keep you updated on progress.
