Here to say a straight forward and obvious sign of an affected system is
the presence of multiple CPUs with full grey bars in htop when a system
is otherwise completely idle with no processes in D state.
$ uname -a

UTC 2026 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ awk '/procs_blocked/ {print}' /proc/stat
procs_blocked 12

14:07:21 up 14:11, 1 user, load average: 0.29, 0.29, 0.41
I'm using Ubuntu 25.10 with these devices:
