It looks like this is because your monitors are aligned to their bottom edges rather than the top. And they're not the same resolution. So there's a region at the top-left of the desktop not covered by any monitors. That's not really an excuse, just seems to be the explanation.
If this monitor placement was not intentional then you can fix it in Settings > Screen Display, and ensure the monitors are aligned by their top edges. ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => mutter (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2147438 Title: GNOME Wayland multi-monitor some windows open or end up partially above the top screen edge, with title bar buttons inaccessible To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2147438/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
