After further testing I don't think the random suspending issue is caused by the Linux kernel. This issue is happening also in other OS, so it most probably is caused by a faulty lid sensor. The command "journalctl -f | grep Lid" shows "Lid closed" and "Lid opened" events without touching the lid.
Nonetheless, the missing symbols messages may be relevant for the kernel and already appeared before the suspending issue: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB.PEP.DETY], AE_NOT_FOUND (20250404/psargs-332) ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB.PCI0.LPCB.BAT1], AE_NOT_FOUND (20250404/psargs-332) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2147249 Title: ACPI BIOS Error in HP OMEN 16 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2147249/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
