I don't want to experiment with building the kernel again and ending up in serious trouble.
Is there a fix planned for the next release of Ubuntu or is there a way you or anyone here can point me to a documentation that enables me to build a kernel and not give me the power to choose to run it or remove it if it does not work? I have a lot of useful data on my laptop and don't want to experiment with it for atleast a few months now. Can you please confirm that it is ok? I'll probably try it when I get a USB drive of close to 350 GB and once I backup all my required data/multimedia/softwares. -Balaji -- DVD-Drive locks at startup when using usplash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/98670 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
