Hi, so, the underlying issue then is: Install with VMD disabled and boot = success Install with VMD disabled, reboot, success, enable VMD, reboot = FAIL?
What about "Install with VMD enabled" from the very beginning? Regarding your comment #9, how did you try adding to the grub config file? where specifically did you add it? And after editing the grub config did you do both: sudo update-grub and sudo update-initramfs -u Also, after that you may need to also add vmd to /etc/initramfs- tools/modules and redo update-initramfs. Not sure that will help, it was a suggestion I found, but it's worth trying. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2144527 Title: [Ubuntu26.04] Emergency mode after fresh install Ubuntu26.04 (Daily build-20260315) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2144527/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
