After some investigation, installing `glycin-thumbnailers` seems to have
fixed all my issues. I would imagine this is the default thumbnailer for
gnome 50?
glycin = dependency('glycin-2', version: '>= 2')
glycin_gtk4 = dependency('glycin-gtk4-2', version: '>= 2')
